Wine School | Part II: The Finger Lakes

  • Small Hours 2201 Northeast 2nd Street Minneapolis, MN, 55418 United States (map)

Riesling remains the lens through which many people first encounter the Finger Lakes, and for good reason. We'll spend time with the grape and the producers who have helped define the region's reputation, while also exploring other wines that help tell the larger story of New York wine today.

Particular attention will be paid to the lakes themselves and the growing conditions that make this one of North America's most distinctive cool-climate regions. As a special treat, we will taste a personal cuvée created during a blending seminar to see if we can identify qualities such as acid and sugar levels in a blind wine.

Wine School includes a flight of four wines and snacks from our kitchen. Price is inclusive of tax.
