Guest Selector Series ft Cameron Wittig
Cameron has pulled selections from his collection that are inspired by or adjacent to music from the films of David Lynch. Expect hauntingly beautiful melodies with dips into surrealism, including everything from Ancient music to Zappa, European experimental theater, local jazz, fusion, neoclassical and a few pop music and classic rock deep cuts that more or less fall in line with a loose Lynchian theme. A selection of music that is a confirmation rather than a denial of the confusing times we are in and perhaps a way to find a bit of solace in the dissonance.

COLD CUTS TWIN CITIES TAKEOVER: TERZO STAFF FUNDRAISER
We were all set to host a takeover of the number one cold cuts account in town @coldcuts twin cities, when one half of the two person mortadella obsessive team suffered a great loss. A water main on 50th street burst in the early hours of February 13th and a hundred thousand gallons of water flooded the basement of Terzo, for which she serves as operations director.
The Terzo team has been through it—an impact on stability, income and much uncertainty—this event has undoubtedly been very difficult. Our goal is not only to raise some funds to alleviate the immediate pressures of this disruptive event but to create a space for some fun and hopefully a small respite from the many daunting tasks of these few weeks. So after a change in date and a refocusing of our goal for the takeover, we are excited to invite you to come party with us!
We’ll have plenty of salami, prosciutto, and bresaola (cold cuts), and Libation Project and The Piedmont Guy are very kindly sponsoring by-the-glass wines and amaro. In addition to Cold Cut Twin Cities representation from me (Sarina) and Sophia, Charlie Broder will be joining us in getting plenty of wine in your glasses.
All salami and Ercole sales are going directly to the GoFundMe that has been set up by the Terzo team to be distributed at their own discretion, as well as 30% of all Small Hours profits. So bring your friends and come hungry and thirsty!
Full wine and dinner menus will be available.

HUET HAPPY HOUR
Join us this coming Thursday with Valerie Masten of The Rare Wine Co. for a chance to dig into one of the most iconic producers of Chenin Blanc in the world-Domaine Huet. Since its founding in 1928, Vouvray’s Domaine Huet has had a focus in site specific and age-worthy wines in an impressive array of styles, from sparkling, dry, semi-dry, and breathtaking dessert styles, displaying the many sides of our favorite grape variety. We’ll be showcasing the wines via a by-the-glass takeover as well as a flight of wines of the same vintage, variety and style, grown in different sites. For our industry friends who we know are some of the most enthusiastic supporters of not only this producer but Chenin Blanc as a variety, your first glass is on us!
Chenin Blanc has been identified with Vouvray since at least the 9th century, and many of its great vineyards were known by the 14th century. The domaine’s founder, Victor Huët, was a Parisian bistro owner. However, with lungs and nerves shattered by his experiences in WWI, Victor re-settled to the town of Vouvray in France’s beautiful Loire Valley. He soon purchased the first of his great vineyards, Le Haut-Lieu, in 1928, and Domaine Huet was born.
Valerie Masten is the current National Sales Director of The Rare Wine Co., one of America’s premier wine merchants and importers representing over 40 iconic producers. Previously she served as the vice president for national sales at Skurnik Wines & Spirits, one of the country’s largest independent importers and distributors. She also works to train wine professionals and sommeliers in markets across the country on topics as diverse as grower Champagne and 19th-century Madeira.

He is especially interested in advancing the core principles of balearic selecting from their heavenly origins in Ibiza towards everyday experiences in postmodern America and the World. If it sounds heady, it's not; this is about music that touches the heart and tells a bigger and better story when we ignore the surface of genre in favor of the embedded soul's strange and beautiful guiding light.

THE BEST WINES W/ SOTOLON SELECTIONS
Join us for the first in our series and likely the most suited to this format, a category of wines with such a distinct character, that an entire portfolio was dedicated to them using the chemical compound they all share, sotolon. Sotolon Selections is a unique portfolio focusing primarily on historic categories of aged, and oxidative wine. In both process and expression, these represent links to some of our oldest winemaking traditions, their lineage extending back to the wines most prized by the ancient Greeks and Romans.
