Juleana Enright (Bleak Roses) (Lower Brule Lakota) is a queer writer, curator, and DJ based in Minneapolis. They have performed at local haunts Nightingale, Muddy Waters and Darkhorse, as well the Walker Art Center and Mia. Inspired by frisson, transient soundscapes and esoteric obsession, Bleak Roses’ Small Hours set strives to blend ebullient avant-pop, enigmatic gothic folk, bittersweet retro-soul, psychedelic and sunshine pop with electric roots, exploring counterculture and rebellious love.
